Logistic and Transport Technician (M/F)

Our client, an industrial group based in the south of Belgium near Luxembourg, wishes to strengthen its teams and is looking for a Logistic and Transport Technician (M/F) with the following profile:

You will have to follow the transport activities of a large Manufacturing site.

You will have the opportunity to explore the End-to-End Supply Chain activities and how they work together to add value and deliver the experience to customers.

Mission

• You will be in charge of planning and coordinating the transport service,

• You will interact with transport and logistic providers to ensure the quality of the process,

• You will analyze the needs and request to translate them into a shipping plan,

• You will create a shipping program and calculate the number of trucks needed in accordance with the program and the production planning and the logistic capacities,

• You will have to coordinate export activities so that the trucks leave the factory as soon as possible,

• You will be in charge of correcting the existing and creating new content and documentation,

• You will have to optimize the cost related to suppliers considering the availabilities,

• You will have to contribute to the activity by complying with transport volume forecasts and projections,

• You will be in charge of the preparation of industrial warehouse infrastructures related to the transport needs,

• You will have to collect all the commercial information from the customer and communicate it internally,

• You will be involved in development projects and be in charge of managing a team,

Profil

•  You will be in charge of planning and coordinating the transport service,

• You have an advanced level in Excel and Office tools,

• Having knowledges of SAP, or any ERP systems is a plus,

• You are fluent in English, French is strongly appreciated (any other language is considered as plus),

• You are curious, open minded and a real team player,

• You have excellent communication skills and a good flexibility of mind,
