As part of an important leadership transition, the organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Transformation & Operations Consultant to provide operational leadership while supporting the implementation of a strategic HR transformation programme. This interim assignment offers the opportunity to influence both the day-to-day management of Human Resources and the future of the HR function.
Reporting directly to the Interim HR Director, you will ensure the continuity of HR operations while leading key transformation initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor to management and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic HR projects.
Your main responsibilities include:
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, amendments, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and HR administration.
Ensure compliance with Luxembourg labour legislation and monitor regulatory developments.
Manage sensitive employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and statutory HR reporting.
Supervise recruitment activities, coordinate learning and development initiatives, and support the performance management process.
Produce HR dashboards and monitor key HR indicators such as turnover, absenteeism, and payroll-related metrics.
Lead the implementation of a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including vendor coordination, system configuration, data migration, user training, change management, and go-live activities.
Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, including recruitment, learning and development, and employee experience.
Support the modernisation of HR policies, tools, and practices to improve efficiency and service quality.
To succeed in this assignment, you bring:
A minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources management.
At least 5 years in an HR Director or Deputy HR Director role with full operational responsibility.
Strong expertise in Luxembourg labour law and HR compliance.
Proven experience managing the complete employee lifecycle and collaborating with payroll.
Demonstrated success delivering HR transformation programmes and organisational change initiatives.
Solid experience leading end-to-end recruitment processes, including executive and specialist positions.
Strong analytical skills with experience producing HR reports, dashboards, and performance indicators.
Experience working in multicultural and multi-site organisations.
Previous interim HR leadership or HR transition consulting experience is considered a strong advantage.
Candidates with HR leadership experience in other Benelux countries and a demonstrated ability to rapidly adapt to the Luxembourg regulatory environment may also be considered.
